People used to think that they had enough on their benefits with their credit cards. They thought that the rewards they get and the low interest they have is already enough to last a lifetime. But times have changed and now cardholders are
wanting more. They are no longer happy receiving a toaster or a coffee pot. They want more. Like free vacations, free services and more.
However, there are instances when they get to have the chance of seeing promotions like 0% APR. Now, this is really something. But the question is, is it true? Affinity cards are a special kind of credit card which are linked into the cardholder’s lifestyle in some way, offering benefits of a more personalized nature than the typically available 0% balance transfer offers and the like. Examples of affinity programs are charity credit cards, where a donation is made to a particular charitable organisation whenever the card is used, or a travel rewards card which lets you build up points which you can redeem against a hotel chain or airline which you use frequently.
